Location: Broken Bow

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed as well as providing support to the Fixed Operations department as a whole.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
  • Assist the parts department as needed
Service Advisor Requirements:
  • Previous experience at a dealership is a plus
  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Positive, friendly attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
