Purchasing Manager - Waverly / Lincoln / Omaha Based

The primary responsibility is establishment of proper inventory stocking levels to provide expected services levels to support the business, the replenishment and accurate maintenance of the region's inventory, in compliance with Matheson's Preferred Vendor and Private Label programs.

Reports to:

Inventory Control Manager (ICM).

• Selling, negotiating, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail).

• Degree in Business or Engineering, and at least 5 years proven experience in operational procurement environment.
• Knowledge of industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders, bulk, cryogenic gases and related technologies a plus.
