SAP Working Student Position
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong.
What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
You will join SAP's Agribusiness and Commodity Solutions environment in a role focused on understanding real customer problems early, learning quickly, and helping shape solutions that create measurable value. This role is ideal for someone who likes working at the intersection of customer needs, product thinking, business processes, and AI-enabled innovation. You will help us move from assumptions to evidence: from early discovery and concrete customer challenges to clearer concepts, stronger narratives, and scalable solution ideas.
Your work will directly support:
- Identifying real customer needs behind requests and translating them into clear problem statements
- Supporting discovery activities for high-value industry and AI use cases in Agribusiness and Commodity Management
- Turning customer conversations, workshop insights, and field inputs into structured concepts, recommendations, and next steps
- Preparing crisp presentations, storylines, workshop material, and leadership-ready summaries
- Helping compare early solution ideas based on business value, customer relevance, and scalability
- Contributing to the path from first customer-specific learning to repeatable product capabilities
- Strengthening collaboration across product management, engineering, UX, and business stakeholders
What you bring:
- Enrollment as a student in Business Administration, Innovation Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, Economics, Communication, or a related field
- Strong interest in understanding customer problems, business processes, and how product ideas become real value
- Ability to structure ambiguous topics, identify what matters, and communicate clearly in presentations and written summaries
- Confidence in interviewing stakeholders, asking good questions, and extracting the underlying need instead of just the requested feature
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with Teams, SharePoint, Miro, or similar collaboration tools is a plus
- Fluent English is required;
German is helpful but not mandatory - Independent and reliable way of working, with curiosity, ownership, and a hands-on mindset
- Working from the Walldorf office is required occasionally and based on prior agreement
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and leveraging state of the art software.
This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
