Position: Project Coordinator (Focus Area in Strategic Initiatives)

Responsibilities
Provide direct operational support to the Associate Vice President Strategic Initiatives including briefing materials, presentations, scheduling, preparation of agendas, assistance with travel arrangements and expenses and purchasesExercise independent judgment in prioritizing tasks, managing competing deadlines, and determining appropriate courses of actionSupport preparation of annual program reports and monitoring for the Strategic Plan and other initiatives in collaboration with supervisorSupport the implementation of project management processes, tools, and best practicesSupport multiple concurrent projects by managing schedules, deliverables, and dependencies across departmentsTake initiative in addressing project needs, resolving issues, and advancing work without direct instructionAssist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentationMake informed decisions on routine and moderately complex project matters, escalating only when necessaryCollect, analyze, and synthesize data to support decision‑making on strategic initiativesTrack and compile data (surveys, performance metrics, assessment, climate survey, listening sessions, etc.) associated with strategic initiatives and strategic plan outcomesMaintain and update content for the President’s Office, the Strategic Plan and related webpages, in collaboration with designated IT and College Relations officesInitiate and oversee internal marketing and communications from the President’s Office and Strategic Initiatives as directed in collaboration with the College Relations officeManage associated social media accounts on behalf of the President’s OfficeMaintain and update Strategic Initiatives Intranet siteInterpret, monitor, and analyze information regarding operating policies and proceduresHelp standardize templates, workflows, and documentation practices associated with strategic initiativesUse a variety of software platforms (such as Jadu, Adobe, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office) to prepare correspondence, publicity materials, surveys, flyers, reports, presentations, and other materials, while managing and assisting with departmental projectsAssist in event planning for workshops and professional development opportunitiesCross‑train as necessaryOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or work‑related experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor Experience with social media, graphic design or publications
- Professional customer service, communication and organizational skills
- Experience working collaboratively in office settings.
- Willingness to work in an exciting, outcomes‑oriented environment
- High level of self‑motivation
- Ability to take a lead on projects and to follow someone’s lead
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Proven experience with technology and applicable software applications
Benefits
Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Annual salary range is $42,950-$53,688.
