As a Heavy Equipment Operator at CL Construction, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery to assist in the construction of concrete structures and installations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the timely execution of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, and forklifts.
• Safely and efficiently maneuver equipment to facilitate all excavation and concrete tasks.
• Collaborate with construction crews and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a secure work environment.
• Assist in various construction tasks as needed, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Excavate, grade, and prepare construction sites according to project specifications and plans.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Document daily activities, including work completed and materials used.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably in the construction or concrete industry.
• Knowledge on shooting grade and reading grade stakes.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery, with a strong focus on safety and precision.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Excellent Communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and procedures.
