Are you a skilled and dedicated dentist looking to make a meaningful difference beyond routine practice? Join our Community Dental Service within the Integrated Primary and Community Care Group and take the next step in a role that combines clinical expertise with real community impact.
As a Special Care Dentist, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across community clinics, domiciliary settings, and general anaesthetic lists. Youll provide routine and urgent treatment under local anaesthetic, conscious sedation, and general anaesthesia, working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team and contributing to service development, improved patient access, and the promotion of oral health.
This role focuses on caring for adults and children who are unable to access routine general dental services, including those with complex medical conditions, learning disabilities, physical impairments, or severe dental anxiety. Your skills will directly support patients with additional needs, ensuring they receive safe, effective, and dignified care in the most appropriate setting.
If you are looking to apply your expertise within a supportive team and contribute to the ongoing development of a valued community service, we encourage you to submit your application and join us in delivering high-quality care across the Isle of Man.
