About the Clinician's Workday

The anesthesiologist will deliver specialized cardiovascular anesthesia services for complex cardiac surgical procedures, including open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases at a Level I trauma and academic medical center. TEE certification is mandatory, and cardiac anesthesiology fellowship training is preferred for managing high-acuity cardiac cases. Responsibilities include conducting pre-operative assessments, providing intraoperative anesthesia management, and coordinating post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.

The position requires 24-hour call coverage with continuous availability for emergency cardiac surgical interventions, with general OR cases addressed as needed.
