Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Western North Dakota
12-Hour shifts at a 25‑bed critical access hospital with a 4‑bed open ICU, flexible block scheduling, and a supportive administrative team.
- APPs are onsite during peak hours.
- The typical inpatient census is 8‑15 patients per day.
- Admissions are 2‑3 days.
- EMR:
Meditech. - Provide care to patients with acute concerns ranging from mild to complex.
- Expedited credentialing upon application completion.
- Board‑certified FP/IM with at least 2 years recent EM experience required.
Living in the Community
- Base compensation: $300/hr (base $290/hr + $10/hr quality bonus).
- Sign‑on bonus: $50,000 (also can be used as a resident stipend, treated as a forgivable loan over 3 years).
- Professional liability insurance.

Travel‑PRN
- Base compensation: $285/hr (base $275/hr + $10/hr quality bonus).
- Professional liability insurance.
- 12‑hour shifts.
- Travel and lodging provided.
- 1‑year contract.
- Priority scheduling.
- Block shifts.
- Base compensation: $290/hr (base $280/hr + $10/hr quality bonus).
- Sign‑on bonus: $50,000 (can also be used as a resident stipend, treated as a forgivable loan over 3 years).
- 12‑hour shifts.
- CME: $5,000 annually.
- Employer‑paid health insurance (HSA option).
- 401(k) safe‑harbor plan: 3% company contribution.

Medical services include emergency services, critical care/ICU, rehabilitation, orthopedics, general surgery, pain management, pediatrics, family medicine, acute care inpatient observation, swing bed services, cardiology, wound care, testing, mammography, CT and MRI scans, nuclear studies, and psychiatry.
