This facility operates as a cardiovascular specialty center providing comprehensive cardiac, vascular, and thoracic care within an inpatient setting. The medical center maintains a dedicated 63-bed hospital and supports clinical operations across an established network of clinics in Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa. Established surgical infrastructure and protocols are in place to support quality patient care delivery across the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

Nebraska offers a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. The state features outdoor activities such as farmers markets, horseback riding, and mountain biking trails, alongside community events including rodeos, county fairs, and outdoor concerts throughout the summer. Clinicians on assignment may also explore historic sites, antique shopping, culinary experiences, local breweries, and stargazing gatherings across the surrounding region.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage on an inpatient, on-site basis for cardiothoracic surgery services, with shifts structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Clinical responsibilities include first assisting in the operating room for cardiothoracic cases and performing vein harvesting procedures. Call coverage is required as a condition of this assignment on a daily basis.
