Philosophy - Part-Time Lecturer Pool
Department of Philosophy at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. The position is intended for individuals who are experienced, well‑organized, and student‑centered.
Position OverviewThe pool includes teaching responsibilities in the following subject areas:
- Critical Thinking
- Introduction to Logic
- Asian Philosophy
- Symbolic Logic
- Contemporary Moral Issues
- 19th Century Philosophy
Appointments are short‑term or month‑to‑month, with lecturers often hired immediately before an academic term. Availability on short notice is required.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in Philosophy or a related field.
- Ability to interact with a diverse student population, including first‑generation college students.
- Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant workplace experience and additional professional capabilities.
