Raymond Central offers a competitive compensation package, recognizing years of service for salary credit. First year teachers begin at Step 3, with a starting salary of $45,252 plus additional compensation for advanced education. The district also provides full family health and dental insurance.

• Education:
  
  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university
• A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate
• Good human relations skills
• Ability to work with students, staff, administration, and parents
• Knowledge of subject area to be taught
• Ability to plan lessons, teach to an objective, have the lesson at the correct level of difficulty, check for understanding during the lesson, and monitor and adjust the lesson as necessary
• Knowledge of child development
• Excellent skills in oral and written communication
