Communication Sciences and Disorders - Part-Time Lecturer Pool

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. This pool is for faculty to teach undergraduate courses in communicative disorders as needed.

  • Sign language
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Neurology and neurogenic communicative disorders
  • Clinical methods and procedures
  • Clinical Supervision

Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part‑time pool are temporary and are often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

Required Qualifications
  • A Master’s or PhD (i.e., M.A., M.S., AuD, PhD, EdD) degree in Communicative Disorders.
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level or at least 5 years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse student population, including first‑generation college students.
  • Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist or Audiologist with ASHA‑CCC and State of California licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment.
  • Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist for clinical supervision.
