Middle School Science Teacher

Ogallala Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in life, physical, and earth science for the 2026-27 academic year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students in class.

The teacher will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning, respect, and collaboration. They will assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly. Regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns is also required. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices are expected.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, strong instructional and classroom management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to student achievement and professional growth.
