Position Summary Information

General Description of Position
- Under the general supervision and direction of the Division Dean/Associate Dean and the Program Director of the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology Program, the instructor is responsible for providing regular instruction, developing and updating the courses taught in a classroom/laboratory, internet, and or distance-learning environment.

Required Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in HVAC/R Technology Two (2) years recent industry work experience in residential and commercial air conditioning, heating and refrigeration.

Desired Qualifications
- Documentation of an advanced degree or additional college training related to HVAC/R teaching and instruction. Four (4) years of recent on-the-job/hands-on construction site experience. Experience in teaching and/or supervision of residential and or light construction job-site projects. Teaching experience in online. hybrid format, flipped classroom and progressive experience in utilizing technology in curriculum development and delivery.
