Business and Economics (Finance) Faculty

The school of Business & Technology is seeking a faculty member to join the department of Business and Economics. The successful applicant should be able to teach courses in Finance. The ability to teach courses in analytics is a plus.

This is an On-Campus Position.

Desired start date is 2026 Fall Semester.

• Contribute to students’ academic growth and development
  • Teaching – demonstrate knowledge of the subject, maintain competence, create a conducive learning environment, manage diverse learners, apply technology, assess progress fairly, and participate in program assessment and review.
  • Advising – understand college policies, assist students with program planning, provide academic and career counseling, support enrollment management, maintain communication, and lead student organizations.
  • Professional achievement – engage in scholarly activity, give presentations, produce research, pursue professional development, secure external funding, and demonstrate contributions to the field.
  • Professional service – participate in campus and community presentations, serve on committees, contribute to accreditation activities, sponsor student organizations, provide leadership in professional associations, and foster collegial relations.
• Secondary duties: other duties as assigned by the Dean.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; earned Doctorate preferred and required for tenure within 6 years of employment at WSC.
• Must have or be able to obtain a driver’s license.
• Criminal background and DMV check.

• Relevant work experience.
• Academic or industry certifications.
• Proficiency with traditional and online classroom instruction.
• Earned doctorate in the field or a related field.

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Annual salary range: $68,000–$80,000. Attractive and comprehensive benefit package.
