Public Administration – Part‑Time Lecturer Pool
The Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Public Administration Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. We seek intelligent, highly motivated, well‑organized part‑time lecturers to teach face‑to‑face upper‑division and graduate‑level courses in Public Administration.
PositionPart‑time lecturers may be called to fill teaching assignments on short notice. Assignments are typically one semester, 3 units per semester.
Minimum Qualifications- Prior university‑level teaching experience.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
- Academically qualified:
Ph.D. (or ABD with expected graduation date), D.P.A., J.D., or MA/MS/MPA related to teaching responsibilities. - Professionally qualified: graduate degree plus relevant professional experience.
- Master’s degree or ABD for 100‑300 level; terminal degree required for 400‑level and graduate courses.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Professional experience related to the subject area.
- Teach assigned upper‑division and graduate courses in Public Administration.
- Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in professional activities that support teaching.

Classified as Lecturer under the CSU Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointment one semester. Monthly salary range $5,507–$6,677. Compensation prorated to units worked.
