We are seeking an energetic and collaborative professional to serve as the Director – Counseling Services & BHECN Northeast Co-Director
. In this unique position, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference inside the classroom, across the College, and throughout the region.
As a key leader within the graduate counseling program, you will help students turn their passion for helping others into meaningful careers.
You’ll support students from recruitment through graduation
, coordinate clinical and academic experiences, strengthen program operations, and help ensure an exceptional student experience.
You’ll also play an important role in maintaining program quality, accreditation, and compliance while working closely with faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners.

, you’ll take your impact beyond campus.
You’ll lead regional efforts to:
- Recruit the next generation of behavioral health professionals
- Train and develop the behavioral health workforce
- Retain talented professionals in the region
- Build innovative partnerships across education, healthcare, behavioral health, and community organizations
- Identify workforce needs and create solutions that make a lasting difference
- Represent BHECN Northeast as a regional leader and partner
Believes in the power of behavioral health and education to transform lives Enjoys building relationships and bringing people together around a common purpose Is energized by mentoring and supporting students Can move comfortably between program leadership, clinical education, and community engagement Thrives in a collaborative environment Is passionate about developing a strong, sustainable behavioral health workforce Wants their work to have an impact that reaches far beyond their office
WHAT YOU'LL BRINGA master’s degree in counseling, behavioral health, higher education, or a related field; doctoral degree preferred Professional experience in counseling, behavioral health, graduate education, program administration, or a related area Experience working with graduate students and/or clinical training programs preferred Knowledge of accreditation, compliance, clinical education, or higher education processes Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and project-management skills A demonstrated ability to develop meaningful partnerships across organizations and professional disciplines
