Build confidence, create connection, and make a meaningful difference—one student at a time. Join Cross Country Education as a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide 1:1 instruction and individualized support to a student with autism in Hellertown, PA.
Position Overview- Provide 1:1 specialized instruction to a student with autism in a neutral community-based setting, such as a local library.
- Develop and adapt individualized lessons and activities to support the student’s academic, developmental, and educational goals.
- Implement positive, individualized strategies to support engagement, self-regulation, task completion, and successful participation in learning activities.
- Collaborate with the student’s educational team to align instruction and support strategies, monitor progress, and promote consistency across learning environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience working with students with autism and/or behavioral or emotional needs, with the ability to provide patient, individualized support in a 1:1 setting
- Competitive Pay:
Earn $51.20 - $52.30 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Special Education Teacher, with weekly pay and bonus opportunities. - Generous Benefits:
