Product Development Engineer; Mechanical

We are seeking a hands on Product Development Engineer to join a specialized engineering team focused on custom mechanical and electromechanical solutions for industrial automation. This role drives product innovation from concept through validation, combining 3D design, lab testing, and real-world prototype work.

The ideal candidate is a practical Mechanical Engineer who enjoys working in the lab as much as in CAD, with strong communication skills and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.

Compensation : $90,000 – $100,000 annually + bonus

• Lead full lifecycle mechanical product development
• Create and modify 3D models and engineering designs
• Perform stress, fatigue, and durability analysis
• Build and test prototypes in lab environments
• Conduct qualification and validation testing
• Select materials and manufacturing processes
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical standards
• Support quality and continuous improvement efforts

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3–7 years hands-on mechanical product development experience
• Prototyping and qualification testing background
• Experience with engineering calculations and validation
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Strong written and verbal communication

Experience in automotive, electrical equipment, medical devices, or engineered manufacturing products.
