Mechanical Project Engineer-Test and Design; Entry Level

Position: Mechanical Project Engineer-Test and Design (Entry Level)
Location: Imperial

JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility include lab testing, CAD design, associated documentation
• Responsible construction & operation of the product development test lab and lab upgrade projects
• Be a part of the research & new product development team
• Format engineering documents, Bills of Material & product specifications
• Interact with customer design engineer for product selection, project management & technical support
• Provide technical sales support to sales representatives or Customers
• Develop a strong understanding of product lines and Product application knowledge

  Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyses information skillfully. Develops alterative solutions and directs their implementation.

  Works cooperatively with Sales, Customers, and Manufacturing to accomplish cross functional tasks

EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE:

• The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience desired, but not a must requirement. Experience in HVAC system repairs, analysis and installation is a definite plus.
• AutoCAD inventor or similar CAD software experience is required

  Reviews job related information to assess and analyze results for accuracy, profitability, completeness, and consistency. Uses job related tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, LabVIEW, AutoCAD, Inventor, Microsoft-AX and Daily Reports) as needed.
• Candidate must be able to multitask and be a self starter.
• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs.
