Large manufacturing company is looking for a PLC Controls Technician for a facility in the Platte Center, NE area
Basic relocation assistance is available for candidate within a few hours away (this company does not sponsor candidates)
The PLC Controls Technician works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure automation systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Support robotic welding cells (Fanuc preferred)
- Diagnose electrical, sensor, and control system issues
- Assist with HMI updates and control modifications
- Support preventive maintenance and downtime reduction efforts
- Associates degree (in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in automated manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Basic PLC programming & troubleshooting experience
