The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as a Tools Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and security of our Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS). You will be at the forefront of building advanced analytics, leveraging Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) and cutting‑edge technologies like machine learning. As an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team, you will contribute to real‑time health and status monitoring, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and efficient.
Responsibilities- Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues promptly.
- Automate DDI workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide expert advice and support to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv
6. - Stay updated with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices.
- Automate requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with various infrastructure support teams to identify, engineer, and implement integrated automation solutions.
Required
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Four years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- 14+ years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator, or configuration management engineer.
- 8+ years of experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Certification: DOD
8570-M, IAT Level 1. - Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, load balancing (F5/DTC), outages, latency issues, troubleshooting, designing and implementing DDI solutions, load balancing technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv
6. - Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools (Ansible) preferred.
Desired
- Administration of Infoblox.
- Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets.
- Comprehensive understanding of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
