Our activity in Water Measurements

Our dedicated teams in the Water Measurement activity of IRH Ingénieur Conseil support our clients in their health protection and environmental performance challenges, through measurement and control services in water:

Measurement and controls of wastewater, groundwater, surface water, validation of self-monitoring devices, support SRR (Regular Monitoring of Discharges), audits, and tests.

Objectives of the position

Attached to the Regional Manager of Water Measurements in the Eastern Region and the Director of Water Measurements, you will work on two complementary functions:

• Technical Manager of the Water Activity.

• Water Project Engineer.

Missions – Technical Responsibility Water

As a Technical Manager, you guarantee, through the supervision you exercise, the compliance and quality of the technical operations related to water measurement activities.

In this role, you are responsible for:

• Updating and maintaining technical documents specific to your field of activity;

• Leading and managing the technical committee of the Water domain;

• Exploiting regulatory, normative, and technical monitoring transmitted by the Director of Measurements and the Quality Manager of Measurements;

• Identifying and reporting training needs to the Director of Measurements and the Director of the domain;

• Organizing and coordinating technical training related to your area;

• Participating in internal and external audits.

Missions – Project Management Activity

In your role as a project engineer, you will mainly be involved in:

• Analyzing client needs and developing or contributing to the development of technical and financial offers;

• Leading, organizing, and independently carrying out the projects entrusted, respecting the allocated budgets, while ensuring financial follow-up and subcontract management;

• Supervising and coordinating engineers, study managers, and technicians;

• Contributing to the writing of reports and deliverables associated with projects;

• Leading and/or participating in progress and coordination meetings.

Driving license B required

The position is based in Sérézin-du-Rhône
- Near Lyon (69), with frequent and regular client trips in the region;

The position to be filled as soon as possible with an indefinite contract and various associated benefits (Social and Economic Committee, health insurance, RTT, restaurant vouchers..)

Education

- Experience:

Holder of a degree from Bac +2 to Bac +5 in the field of water, you have at least 10 years of experience in design offices and/or control offices, including significant experience in quality assurance.

Skills and qualities

• Solid technical knowledge, mastery of quality systems and the ISO/IEC 17025 standard;

• Recognized expertise in water measurement missions, under COFRAC – LAB GTA 29 accreditation;

• Managerial aptitude and interest in the support and development of teams;

• Ability to analyze client needs, write technical and commercial proposals, and defend offers;

• A strong desire to actively contribute to the technological evolution of the profession.
