The Recycling and Valorization activity of Veolia’s Direction des Services aux Entreprises (DSE) – Territory Bara – is committed every day to a more sustainable future. As part of our development, we are recruiting an alternant specialized in Environment and Icpe Compliance to strengthen our team and actively contribute to the mastery of our regulatory and environmental challenges.
Your Mission
Attached to the Technical Expert Sorting & Valorization, you will play a key role in the management of regulatory compliance Icpe and environmental monitoring in the Bara perimeter.
Your Responsibilities
Conformity Icpe & Regulatory Watch
Ensure regulatory watch and anticipate applicable changes to the activities of the perimeter
Participate in the constitution and updating of Icpe files (declaration, registration, authorization)
Study the feasibility of regulatory and sanitary aspects for new markets and/or projects
Supervise regulatory and sanitary files
Raise awareness and relay emerging issues (e.g. Pfas, drought order…)
Coordination & Project Management
Coordinate and manage projects by linking local requests (business unit territory, operators, technical expert of the territory), the roadmap and other internal and external stakeholders (Qhse, Sdis…)
Manage and process environmental hipos and event industrial major sheets
Share and rely on peers during exchange routines (Bp, Hipo, other Retex…)
Environmental Management
Contribute to the monitoring of environmental impacts (water, air, waste)
Participate in the implementation of environmental improvement action plans
Operational Support
Accompany field teams in the correct understanding and application of regulatory requirements
Ensure strict compliance with safety rules in the context of its missions and during its trips to sites

Mobility indispensable throughout the territory
Regular trips to sites
QualificationsYou are preparing a Master 2 in Environment, Environmental Law, Qhse or equivalent, and have a good knowledge of Icpe regulation.
You have ideally already completed an internship in a company, which has allowed you to develop real autonomy and the ability to evolve in a multi-site and multi-stakeholder environment.
You show great rigor, a keen sense of organization and a real ability to simplify technical subjects to various stakeholders.
You show a marked interest in the recycling and waste treatment sector, and are motivated by missions with a strong environmental impact and field.
