Do you want to be part of building the future way of managing and structuring requirements? We are looking for a Requirements Tooling Engineer – a key person who drives how we work with requirements, tooling, and structure, from the ground up.

This is not a traditional requirement role. You will not just write or review requirements – you will shape the entire system around them.

About the role;

You will have a hybrid role where you combine several competencies:

• Requirements engineer
• Tooling developer
• System thinker

You will:

• Build and improve tools and structures for requirement management
• Ensure traceability and quality throughout the requirement flow
• Automate and streamline how requirements are created, validated, and used
• Create a clear link between requirements, implementation, and testing

You work hands-on in tools and structure, not as a PO or project manager.

Must-haves (Non-negotiable)

Requirements & structure (hands-on)

You have experience in:

• Requirement decomposition
• System requirements and specifications
• Traceability (trackability)

You work operationally – not just at a high level

Requirements tooling (critical part)

You have experience with at least one:

• Sphinx Needs (meriting)
• System Weaver
• DOORS
• Jama or similar

And you have actively:

• Set up
• Structured
• Improved

This is one of our biggest development areas

Python & scripting

You can:

• Build your own tools
• Automate requirement flows
• Validate data

You use Python as a tool for structure and automation

System & configuration thinking

You have worked with:

• System configuration
• Properties / parameters
• Consistency validation

Important for building sustainable and scalable requirement management

Understanding of development & testing

You understand:

• How requirements are used in implementation
• How they are verified and tested

You can link the entire V-model

Strong meriting

• Experience with Sphinx + Markdown + PlantUML
• Built requirement portals or documentation solutions
• Worked with automated traceability
• Background in automotive or embedded systems
