HSE Process Safety Engineer
Do you have experience in HSE, process safety, and the process industry – and perhaps a background as a process engineer? If so, we would like to get in touch with you. In the fall, we at Nevita AB see an increased need for competence in HSE, process safety, and technical safety work. Therefore, we would like to get in touch with you who have experience from the process industry and are open to future opportunities.
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute with their experience in assignments where safety, risk management, and technical understanding are central – often in complex operations in chemical industry, petrochemicals, refineries, energy, or other process-intensive industries.
YourJob Responsibilities
Our assignments in the area may include, for example, that you:
- Plan, coordinate, and drive process safety work at the facility or in the project
- Lead and participate in risk analyses such as HAZOP, HAZID, gross analyses, MOC (Management of Change), and other process safety-related activities
- Follow up on actions from completed risk analyses and ensure that decided measures are implemented
- Plan and conduct PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews)
- Support the operation in matters related to process safety, HSE, and compliance with safety requirements
- Contribute with competence in barrier management, risk-reducing measures, and improvement work
- Collaborate with operations, production, technology, maintenance, and project organization in safety and change issues
- Contribute with process engineering competence in connection with changes, optimizations, and technical improvements in process plants
We believe that you have experience from roles such as Process Safety Engineer, HSE Engineer, process engineer, or similar within the process industry, and that you thrive in assignments where you can combine safety work with technical understanding and collaboration across several functions.
We would like to see that you have:
- Several years of experience in process safety, HSE, process technology, or related areas
- Documented experience of HAZOP, HAZID, gross analyses, MOC, process risk analyses, and risk management
- Experience of driving and following up safety-related activities, action plans, and improvement initiatives
- Good understanding of process risks, barrier management, and risk-reducing measures
- Experience of PSSR
- Experience from chemical industry, refinery, petrochemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals, or other process-intensive operations
- Good communicative ability and a habit of collaborating with different parts of the organization
- Fluent English and good Swedish in speech and writing
Meriting:
- Meriting is experience of machinery safety, especially in the interface between machines and process equipment.
