The client’s team,Infra Test Environment, has the responsibility to develop and maintain electrical HIL rigs (Hardware in the Loop) at complete vehicle level which we own as well as to ensure proper updates of test objects owned by other departments used in SW testing.
Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably within electronics, physics, mechatronics, embedded systems, or similar
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within automotive electrical system design, development, integration, or verification
- Experience in design and development of electronic components and systems across both hardware and software
- Experience with end-to-end functional testing and verification, including HIL and automated test systems
- Strong competence in Matlab, Python, Robot Framework, or similar engineering tools
- Good understanding of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience from hybrid and/or electric vehicle development, AD/ADAS, infotainment, body functionality, HMI, connectivity, powertrain, high-voltage systems, or brake systems
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Gerrit
- Experience with dSPACE software and hardware ecosystems, including SCALEXIO, Configuration Desk, Control Desk, and Model Desk
- Understanding of automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 and regulatory requirements such as EMC and EMI
- Experience with Agile/SAFe framework, Agile VPDS release processes, and delivery planning
- Ability to organize work for a team, coach team members, and secure product flow and deliveries
- Experience working with continuous integration and continuous improvement in engineering teams
You will work in a collaborative HIL team, contribute to continuous improvements, and help further develop the HIL concept to enable automated testing and Continuous Integration. The role gives you a broad understanding ofthe client’s vehicle systems and electrical functions, while also creating a wide network across internal teams and suppliers.
What you’ll do- Lead and drive development, maintenance, and testing of complete-vehicle electrical HIL rigs
- Support integration and verification of hardware and software in early development phases
- Develop HIL solutions covering test automation, Simulink/Stateflow modeling, and dSPACE integration
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust HIL capabilities across platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvements, ways of working, and scalable CI-ready test environments
- Initiate, lead, and drive the building, development, maintenance, and testing of HIL rigs for complete-vehicle platforms
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems integrated in Complete HIL rigs, including wiring harnesses, power distribution systems, control units, and compatible I/O hardware
- Build and configure dSPACE hardware such as SCALEXIO customized racks, Lab Box, and compatible I/O boards
- Work with dSPACE tools such as Configuration Desk, Control Desk, and Model Desk
- Integrate electrical and electronic components into Complete HIL rigs, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and readiness for test execution
- Support verification in vehicles at system or functional level when needed
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of electrical systems to resolve issues and meet performance and safety expectations
- Implement and validate communication protocols and networking solutions such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and related automotive communication technologies
