Financial Analyst

Overview

Large manufacturing company is looking for a Financial Analyst for a facility in central NE. Minor relocation assistance is available for candidate within surrounding states. This is an on-site position (no option to work remote or hybrid). This company does not sponsor candidates now or in the future.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our Plex ERP system.
• Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
• Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for manufacturing plant.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in process improvements, system enhancements and development of analytical tools to support a more streamlined financial reporting function and better analytics.

• Bachelor’s Degree (in accounting or finance preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounting field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or accounting firm.
• Experience in a large accounting firm preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems a must – experience with Plex is preferred.
