As an Industrial Management Controller, you will join the Finance team at the Huningue site to contribute to the financial management of a production environment. In this hybrid role, you will participate in the monthly close, financial reporting, budgets, and site forecasts, while supporting departments in cost management and project evaluation. You will work in liaison with site teams and global/corporate stakeholders in a site-based role.

Your responsibilities:

  • Participate in the monthly close of the site in SAP, perform expense analyses, absorption, price purchase variances, performance reviews, stock reviews, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.
  • Prepare the financial reporting of the site to corporate/global teams, performance indicators, and elements necessary for year-end audit work.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts by gathering key assumptions, constructing budgets, and calculating standard costs.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses on product costs and the profitability of investment projects, in collaboration with finance, engineering, and department heads.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of analysis tools and the follow-up of investment projects, fixed assets, and Research Tax Credit (CIR) requests.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in management, finance, business school, or university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial management control.
  • Experience in monthly close, financial reporting, budget construction, and forecasting in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system like SAP, a Business Intelligence (BI) tool, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards according to US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as a good level of written and spoken English regularly used in an international context.

  • Experience in detailed calculation of standard costs and cost of goods sold on a significant product portfolio.
  • Experience in the follow-up of investment projects and fixed assets in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in preparing financial presentations for a senior management team and corporate stakeholders.
  • Desired experience in a pharmaceutical, animal health, or regulated production environment.
  • Certifications, reporting tools, or complementary expertise considered as a plus.
