The Role
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and analytical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing and collection processes. You will manage the collection of outstanding invoices, enter daily cash applications, monitor aging reports, respond to customer inquiries, and help reconcile accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reconciliation between AR aging and general ledger and investigate any discrepancies
- Record customer payments and related bank fees
- Be the main point of contact for all customer inquiries related to invoices and collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Revenue Operations, and Professional Services) to resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor aged accounts and proactively contact customers to resolve any roadblocks for the customer to remit payment
- Validate billing information against contracts and generate invoices in a timely manner
- Assist with customer onboarding and portal registration to ensure timely payments
- Provide supporting documentation for audit requests
- Prepare bad debt analysis to identify accounts that are uncollectible or need to be written off
- Help identify, build, and implement ongoing process improvements to enhance overall operations
- Provide and collect all necessary compliance and tax forms to ensure proper compliance and reduce fees
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 1–3 years of experience within an AR related or customer facing role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP and data sorting) Familiarity with ERP and Billing systems (e.g., Net Suite, Salesforce, Oracle, or Quick Books) is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with a high level of accuracy.
