Controlling Manager For Product Area Consumables & Service Operations

The controlling department for the product area consumables and service operations is responsible for the commercial control of the product area consumables, a trading business with around 350 million euros in revenue. At the same time, it acts as the central contact point for all controlling topics within the service organization with approximately 1,700 employees.
Your Tasks- Creation and analysis of budgets, business cases as well as profitability and ROI calculations
- Analysis of product costs, margins and price developments including the derivation of optimization potentials
- Responsibility for cost center and FTE monitoring including planning and forecast
- Support and coordination of the worldwide hourly rate planning
- Conducting variance analyses and deriving substantiated action recommendations
- Creation of forecasts, scenario analyses and management reports
- Development and maintenance of relevant KPIs (e.g. customer profitability, churn)
- Close cooperation with product management, development, sales and controlling
- Participation in projects and in project controlling for the further development of the service organization to increase efficiency and performance
- Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or comparable qualification with a focus on controlling, product management or finance
- Proven professional experience in controlling, ideally in a product-related environment (e.g. lifecycle or project controlling)
- Good understanding of product life cycles, cost structures and value chains
- Very pronounced analytical thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Communication skills as well as the ability to present complex issues in a comprehensible manner
- High initiative, sense of responsibility and team orientation
- Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking are essential for communication with our domestic and foreign subsidiaries
