Emergency Dispatcher ICity of Holdrege – Holdrege, Nebraska

The City of Holdrege is currently accepting applications for the position of Emergency Dispatcher I. This is a full-time position within the Holdrege Police Department serving the community by coordinating emergency and non-emergency response services.

Emergency Dispatchers are responsible for receiving and dispatching law enforcement, fire, and medical calls. This position requires excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional moral character
• No felony, domestic assault, or serious misdemeanor convictions

• Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls
• Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel
• Operate computers, telephones, and radio communications equipment
• Maintain accurate written reports and documentation
• Monitor and manage multiple communication systems simultaneously

• Salary Range: $21.57 - $26.02 per hour (commensurate with experience)
