We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Beautician to provide hair care services to our residents in a warm, welcoming nursing home environment. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
Position SummaryThe Beautician provides hair care services to residents including haircuts, shampoos, sets, perms, color, and basic styling services in accordance with facility policies and Nebraska state regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide haircuts, shampoos, sets, perms, coloring, and styling services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary salon area
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures
- Develop positive relationships with residents and staff
- Maintain appropriate licensure and compliance with Nebraska cosmetology regulations
- Manage scheduling and basic recordkeeping of services provided
- Current Nebraska Cosmetology License required
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to work independently
