About the Organization Great Clips, Sharpness Inc is a family owned organization. We started in Great Clips in 2006 with just 1 salon and have consistently grown ever since! We are always looking for great people to add to our family and love to help individuals develop and grow in whatever position they aim to hold. We have a strong culture of customer service and teamwork in our salons.

Summary/Objective:

A stylist will aid in creating customer loyalty to Great Clips by connecting with the customers' comfort zone, every time they visit the salon.

• Deliver the Great Clips brand
  • Use the Great Clips 5-Step Customer Connection process with every customer
• Make customers feel comfortable by treating them like guests
  • Gather every customers' personal information to properly create their profile in the Great Clips database
  • Keep tools, stations, and salons, clean and organized
    • Work as a team to share cleaning responsibilities
  • Stay informed of and abide by all state rules and regulations
  • Handle iPads, cash, and coupons comfortably
  • Attend and participate in all salon or team meetings
  • Dress according to apparel guidelines for all work functions
  • Speak and read English when interacting with employees and customers
• Provide customers freedom to get a service when they want to
  • Work a flexible schedule to help minimize customer wait times
  • Work peak shifts whenever possible to provide customer convenience
    • Be available to work during blackout periods
• Operate with a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain an average service time of 11-16 minutes for haircut services
  • Be prepared to provide services when the salon opens and until the salon closes
• Be able to provide quality services for an extended period of time in a fast paced environment
• Focus on the customer at all times when they are in the salon
• Help customers understand Online Check-in

Teamwork is incredibly important to the success of salons. Stylists may be requested or scheduled to work in salons other than their home salon.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use arms, hands, and fingers. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
