Hair Assistant

About the role
We are seeking a Hair Assistant to join the team in the Orchard Central Region. This is a full-time position where you will work alongside our experienced stylists to support the day-to-day operations of our hair salon. As a Hair Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service whilst helping to maintain the high standards our salon is known for.

This position offers you the opportunity to develop your skills in a professional salon environment and build a foundation for a rewarding career in the hair and beauty industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assist hairstylists during client appointments, including shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing hair

• Prepare and organise workstations with all necessary tools and products before and after each service

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the salon, including sweeping, sanitising equipment, and managing waste

• Support stylists with colour mixing, product application, and other technical tasks as directed

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients

• Learn and follow all salon policies, safety procedures, and professional standards
