Traveling Speech-Language Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services across various rural healthcare settings.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support communication and swallowing safety.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, safety considerations, and home programs.
  • Adapt smoothly to new clinical environments, interdisciplinary teams, and patient populations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to optimize functional outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (or anticipated degree).
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility) in at least one state we serve; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Strong adaptability and comfort working in diverse healthcare environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Interest in rural healthcare and supporting rehabilitation teams across multiple communities.
  • Willingness to travel and complete short-term assignments.
