Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student success for the remainder of the school year. Use your expertise to provide vital therapy services, collaborate with a supportive team, and help students find their voice and thrive in the classroom!
Position Overview- Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions to implement goals established by the Supervising SLP, focusing on Junior High social-pragmatics and language comprehension.
- Provide consistent services for approximately 33 students, ensuring all therapy minutes are met according to IEP requirements.
- Maintain daily session notes, track data on student progress, and assist in the preparation of reports for IEP meetings.
- Partner with the Supervising SLP and classroom teachers to integrate speech goals into the daily academic environment and modify age-appropriate therapeutic materials to meet student needs.
- Associate’s Degree from a Board-approved SLPA program or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License/Credential (Required)
- Prior experience in a school setting or with junior high-aged populations (Preferred)
- Top Compensation:
Earn $42.90 - $50.10 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. - Generous Benefits:
