5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat), office hours

The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to support patient care. The role ensures accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of laboratory results while adhering to established protocols, safety standards, and quality control measures. This position works closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide critical diagnostic information.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and other relevant areas.
  • Ensure quality control, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory results in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety protocols.
  • Assist in sample collection, processing, and storage.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the lab.
  • Support the implementation of new testing methods and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.
Key Requirements
  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or any related field.
  • Min. 2-3 years’ experience of laboratory experience (hospital or clinical lab preferred).
  • Proficient in laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic techniques.
  • Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance and safety procedures.
  • Effective communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.
