Overview

RN, Oncology Unit Manager — Talented Medical Solutions. Full-time, Contract, Variable shifts, 40 hours a week. In-Office | Valentine, NE, United States.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the oncology unit to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care protocols and best practices for oncology.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and growth.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in the oncology unit.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet departmental goals.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license with oncology specialization is required.

  • Proven experience in managing nursing staff in an oncology setting.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategies for performance improvement.
