Position Summary
Radiology Technologist at Chadron Hospital provides high-quality imaging services and patient-centered care. This role involves capturing diagnostic images, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring accurate, timely results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform X‑ray examinations ordered by physicians, PAs, NPs, and radiologists.
- Perform ultrasound examinations as ordered.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, radiology personnel and the Director of Radiology.
- Maintain current knowledge of department policies, procedures, and standards.
- Order supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, schedule imaging appointments, and handle billing details.
- Certifications:
valid ARRT credentials and up‑to‑date Nebraska state license for radiology and ultrasound technologist respectively. - Radiology Technologist: minimum two years of accredited radiologic technology training and pass the ARRT national registration; preferred two years hospital experience.
- Ultrasonographer: two‑year accredited ultrasound training and pass ARRT certification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physics, electricity, and imaging techniques.
- Ability to operate imaging equipment, set up studies, obtain diagnostic images, and manage scheduling and records.
- Eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and up to $12,500 annually through the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program.
- Full‑time, 30‑40 hours per week.
