Location: Winnebago

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an overnight 7-on-7-off schedule at a comprehensive healthcare system in Winnebago, NE.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT training and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Active ARRT registration required; ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) are among the accepted certifications
  • Proficiency in radiographic exposure techniques, patient positioning, and image quality control
  • Experience with PACS systems and digital radiology workflows
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
  • License required if applicable
  • DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic imaging department within a comprehensive healthcare system in Winnebago, NE
  • Dual-modality role covering CT and general radiologic technology
  • Overnight 12-hour shifts on a 7-on-7-off schedule
  • 13-week contract
  • Perform a wide range of routine and complex radiographic and CT examinations, including nonstandard procedures requiring independent technical judgment
  • Responsible for calculating and controlling exposure factors (kVp, mAs, time, distance) and ensuring optimal image quality
  • Carry out digital radiology duties including loading readers, pushing images to PACS, and electronically editing and annotating images
  • Maintain and troubleshoot cassette readers, PACS, and radiology IT equipment
  • Perform QC for assigned modalities and maintain compliance with radiation protection standards
  • Maintain accurate records of patient workload, examinations performed, and technical factors used
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screen, health assessment, immunizations, and TB testing
