Contract therapist, Mental Health

Overview

We’re looking for a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) who is passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers flexibility to create your own schedule while Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs.

• Treat clients remotely in your state(s) of licensure on the secure (HIPAA compliant) Talkspace platform
• Conduct client sessions using video, audio, and live messaging services
• Respond to asynchronous client messages each week, in a timely manner
• Complete your required clinical documentation after each client session

• Current license to practice independently without supervision in the state of Nebraska
• Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) or Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy
• Individual NPI number
• Comfortable learning new online tools and technology
• Reliable internet connection and video-capable device

• $70 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (rate prorated for 45 and 30 minute sessions)
• Additional compensation for asynchronous messaging

If you treat clients in multiple states, different rates will apply accordingly. Rates could be subject to change and may vary over time based on the market and shifts in demand.
