Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Description

This position is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The Physical Therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers.

• Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of the patient's condition.
• Develops plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome, often including exercise regimens at the clinic and at home.
• Uses various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
• Determines patients' ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
• Physical functions required: carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking.

• Bachelor, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Active Montana State Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Highly organized and analytical.
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
• A team player able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana.

Full-time and part-time positions, as well as PRN, available with flexible shifts. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Hourly rate: $42.66 – $65.82 (actual rate dependent upon experience).
