Key Responsibilities- Utilize evidence‑based practice and provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under supervision.
- Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
- Assist in preparing discharge summaries and other required documentation.
- Document all required regulatory and clinical information electronically and maintain patient records per company policy.
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred; new graduates welcome.
