Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team located at Hemingford Community Care Center in Hemingford, NE
.

Training + Onboarding

We don’t believe in the “sink or swim” approach.

New therapists receive:

  • Strong integration and onboarding
  • 1:1 training for documentation and evaluations

What You'll Do

As the OT, you’ll treat a geriatric population across SNF and Transitional Care, including:

  • Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
  • Transfer training (all levels)
  • Fall prevention and safety training
  • Treatment of clinically complex patients
  • Discharge planning and care coordination

    Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
  • Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff

Requirements
  • Current Nebraska OT license in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited OT program
  • Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
  • Ability to supervise a COTA
  • SNF experience preferred - but not required. New grads are welcome, and we provide structured training and mentorship.
