As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will help implement school wide and classroom-based positive behavior support strategies designed to strengthen student engagement, build functional skills, and increase positive behaviors. You will prioritize proactive, evidence-based interventions while remaining prepared to respond to behavioral crises using approved CPI techniques, behavioral contracts, and strategies documented within each student's behavior intervention plan (BIP), as applicable.

Working within established practices, you will maintain compliance with company, school, state, and federal requirements. You will also partner closely with the Program Director and multidisciplinary team to support effective program operations and create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing individualized and small-group behavioral support to address social, emotional, interpersonal, and behavioral challenges that may interfere with student learning and school participation.
• Implementing proactive, evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs, Behavior Intervention Plans, treatment plans, and other established goals.
• Responding promptly and effectively to crisis situations by applying approved de-escalation techniques, CPI strategies, and individualized behavioral interventions.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and detailed documentation, including communication logs, service notes, behavioral data, incident reports, and other required student records.
• Gathering relevant information from students, families, educators, and school personnel to support the assessment of students' social, emotional, and behavioral adjustment within the school and community.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, areas of difficulty, and circumstances that may affect school performance.
• Supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing review of Individualized Education Programs and Behavior Intervention Plans in accordance with company, school, district, state, and federal requirements.
• Attending and actively participating in IEP meetings, student support meetings, behavioral planning sessions, and other multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborating with teachers, clinicians, families, district personnel, and community-based professionals to coordinate appropriate behavioral, educational, and support services for students.
• Coordinating student-related case management activities, including parent meetings, emergency transportation requests, outside-provider communication, and continuity of services.
• Consulting with teachers, parents, district representatives, and service providers to identify effective solutions to student learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Observing classroom staff implementation of IEP goals, Behavior Intervention Plans, and treatment plans to promote consistency, fidelity, and the effective use of positive behavioral supports.
• Coaching classroom staff on positive behavior-support strategies, data-collection practices, classroom routines, student schedules, and individualized interventions.
• Assisting teachers with developing structured classroom schedules, maintaining student data systems, and facilitating student transition plans aligned with each student's individualized goals and services.
• Assessing student progress by consistently reviewing behavioral data, classroom documentation, intervention outcomes, and other performance indicators.
• Providing targeted training, feedback, and guidance to classroom staff based on student data, observed needs, and established behavioral programming.
• Conducting crisis and safety assessments and contacting appropriate internal or external resources when emergency intervention is necessary.
• Modeling effective behavioral-support practices, professional communication, collaborative problem-solving, and positive interactions with students and colleagues.
• Reinforcing a behavior-analytic and data-informed approach to education by promoting the consistent use of measurable outcomes, evidence-based interventions, and positive behavior supports.
