Medical Lab Technician

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Medical Lab Technician I to support our technology-driven diagnostics team. In this role, you'll perform routine clinical laboratory tests, operate and troubleshoot automated analyzers, ensure accurate data entry into our lab information systems, and follow strict quality control and safety standards. Working in a collaborative, innovation-focused culture, you'll partner with medical and IT professionals to deliver reliable test results that support patient care while gaining exposure to cutting-edge lab and software tools and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical laboratory tests following established procedures and protocols
• Prepare, label, and process patient specimens accurately and safely
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated laboratory analyzers
• Enter and verify test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Perform and document quality control checks and participate in proficiency testing
• Follow infection control, biosafety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Communicate critical or abnormal results to appropriate clinical staff
• Collaborate with technologists, pathologists, and IT staff to resolve data or instrument issues
• Maintain organized work areas, reagents, and supplies
• Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives
