CT Tech: X-Ray Tech

Job Description:

This contract role places you at a small community hospital in Imperial, Nebraska, where you'll perform XR imaging duties in a dedicated clinic attached to the hospital. The position involves working 10-hour days over a 13-week period, offering a steady routine and the chance to become familiar with a range of imaging equipment, including Siemens Somatom GO UP 64 Slice CT scanner and Siemens DR X-ray room.

You'll support a small ER with four rooms, providing imaging for various urgent cases, and may participate in minor surgeries using the hospital’s C-arm. No CT registration is required, but venipuncture skills are a plus. The hospital uses Cerner EMR, Nova Rad, and McKesson PACS systems, with images read by off-site radiologists.
