We are currently looking for a Full-Time Associate Director of and Rehabilitation to join our team (40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday) at Ogallala Community Hospital. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of leadership within a Rehab setting. This is a Salaried position. Your pay and benefits are important components of your journey at Banner Health. Ogallala Community Hospital combines tradition and technology in the charming small town of Ogallala, Nebraska. Our 18-bed facility is at the heart of a well-integrated, total care system from primary care to specialty care and is committed to meeting the health care needs of western Nebraska. Serving a patient population from newborns through geriatric patients, we operate a very busy outpatient clinic as well as a specialty clinic with a variety of visiting specialists, including cardiology, oncology, OB/GYN, podiatry, dermatology, bariatrics, pain management, and ophthalmology as well as a Retina Specialist.

This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a rehabilitation department(s)/area in the achievement of balanced initiatives and delivery of excellent patient care. This includes accountability for planning, directing, and monitoring operational, programmatic and patient outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluations, recruitment, retention and disciplinary actions as needed with consultation from the Director as needed. Incumbent will be responsible for developing the budget while executing financial acumen and problem solving/plan of actions relating to that budget.
Outstanding communication, problem solving, change management and relationship skills are required to influence employee engagement, resource utilization and patients and physician satisfaction. Incumbent must inspire employees to achieve personal and professional goals and objectives. The position is responsible for role modeling service excellence in all interactions and leading a culture of recognition and celebration.
