We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s Front Office Department. The successful candidate will maintain high service standards, manage reservations, staff, and guest services, and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day Front Office operations while upholding hotel standards and departmental objectives.
- Ensure profitability through upselling and maximizing guest compliments via social media channels.
- Oversee reservation control, forecasting, daily group movements, room blocking, VIP room assignments, cleanliness, and setup of complimentary items.
- Coordinate with Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments for smooth guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Conduct spot checks of guest rooms to maintain housekeeping standards.
- Supervise front desk, guest services, concierge, and telephone departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and potential business sources.
- Plan and manage staff rosters effectively.
- Provide training and coaching to Front Office staff according to hotel SOPs.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports and forecasts on occupancy, bookings, arrivals, departures, house counts, revenue, and other statistics as required.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure all team members receive pertinent information.
- Ensure staff discipline, grooming, and conduct meet hotel service standards.
- Maintain orderliness of the lobby and parking areas.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Management.
- Diploma in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide staff in delivering excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
- Committed to upholding the hotel’s core values at all times.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
